Let’s make it on bread!

I love homemade pizza and I realize this isn’t the most original “recipe” to start out with, but it tasted pretty great and was super fast. It was cold and snowy and I didn’t want to do a lot of work. So, I grabbed a loaf of bread, tossed on some pizza toppings, added a little cheese and stuck it in the oven.

Here’s the Canadian bacon half with some veggies.

The other half had buffalo chicken that you find near your lunch meats in the grocery store with the same veggies. Both turned out great!

Pizza Bread

1 loaf of French bread
Pizza sauce
Canadian bacon
BBQ Chicken
Black Olives
Green Olives
Pizza Cheese
1.) Preheat oven to 350°
2.) Cut the French bread in half lengthwise.
3.) Place each half on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
4.) Spread out the pizza sauce on each half and top with your favorite toppings and cheese.
4.) Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is slightly crispy.

  1. Mmm! I've done something similiar with ciabatta rolls. You could also stick it under the broiler and it'll be done in a few minutes…just keep your eye on it! 🙂
