On a nice snowy football day, wings seem like a great idea, right? Okay, the game really had nothing to do with it. I’ve been thinking about these wings for at least a week. I’ve just been waiting for the right day to make them. Packers vs. Eagles game day seemed like the perfect excuse. The end result…juicy, not too spicy buffalo wings.
12 chicken wings
2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
3 tbsp bottled hot pepper sauce
2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1.) Cut off and toss out the tips of chicken wings. Cut wings in half at the joints and toss them all in a Ziploc bag.
2.) Stir together butter, hot sauce, paprika, salt and cayenne pepper for the marinade. Pour over the wings and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
3.) Place chicken wings on the broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches from the heat for about 10 minutes. Turn over and broil for another 10-15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
Enjoy with ranch or blue cheese!
